This map is a way to re-imagine TRU by changing spaces around campus to make them feel safer and more inclusive. This map goes off from a survey posted around campus with questions about inclusion and comfort. With the 30 responses there was a map that laid out showcasing the main areas that students feel uncomfortable in. From that map I changed areas on what the feedback suggested and how we can re-imagine campus. Some ideas are safe pathways, visibility improvements, lighting improvements and security and emergency access.
By improving lighting, visibility and comfort we can create a more inclusive TRU.
