In Geographies of Gender, GEOG 3230, students explore their situated role in this place-based, socially-constructed, and intersectional world through the lens of feminist geography and geographies of gender.
Grounded in individual accountability and respectful collaboration, students in the course embark on a journey of non-hierarchal decision making, a counter-cultural experience whereby they develop as a team a project that takes into consideration their individual passions, strengths, and interests as developed and fostered throughout the term, and then merges them into a collective purpose to support social-cultural change. Each year that the course runs, students will add their contributions to this site to disseminate the knowledge learned.
Students in the 2023 Geographies of Gender course are the trailblazers of this process!
