Marginalization builds up in collective psyches. This can result in what are experienced as “microaggressions.” For example, it is a common experience of socially constructed women to be interrupted when they speak. It may seem small, but frustration can build up over time resulting in an angry explosion or depression or a lack of confidence in one’s voice, or all of the above. This is a site where microaggression examples are presented in relation to different aspects of positionality: https://www.themicropedia.org/
